On September 22th-25th, 2020, the 9th member congress of China Heat Treatment Association and the 14th five year development forum of China heat treatment industry were held in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. The meeting elected the new Council, Executive Council and responsible person of China Heat Treatment Association, and held the fifth session of the Eighth Council meeting, the first session of the ninth Council meeting and the 14th five year development forum of China heat treatment industry.

At the meeting, more than 400 experts and scholars from the same industry were gathered for discussion and exchange. The representatives conducted extensive and in-depth exchanges on how to optimize the heat treatment process. At the same time, they learned from each other and promoted the advanced heat treatment technology, making outstanding contributions to promoting the progress of heat treatment technology in China and improving the production level.

Yin Hanqi, chief engineer of GUANGDONG STRONG TECHNOLOGY, took "advanced heat treatment and surface engineering technology research and development practice" as the main report content, proposed the control method of nitrogen potential and carbon potential of nitrocarburizing atmosphere, solved the problem of atmosphere control of precision nitriding, and put forward a new concept of nitriding and nitrocarburizing, which is essentially different from conventional nitriding and nitrocarburizing.
